Data Privacy Policy


Introduction


The purpose of this personal data protection policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) is to explain and clarify as to how InZu Global ApS or InZu Maritime ApS or Skatten Hund ApS (hereinafter “InZu”, “we”,“us” or “our”) collect and process personal data about you (data subject) when you use/visit our website, request/use our services /buy a product  or request services of our partners via us or apply for a job.


We have appropriate data protection compliance framework in place as we are committed to comply with our obligations in relation to processing personal information under Danish law and EU law (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”). The purpose of this policy is therefore to inform you as to how we proces your personal information, and our GDPR compliance. When you request our services /buy our products, you accept the terms and conditions of this policy, unless separte express written consent is required in this regard, which we then obtain from you. 


Collection of personal information


InZu collects your personal information with great care and use it for only legitimate and defined business purposes, we collect the personal information in various ways, such as:


  • when you contact us to get our services, buy our products, to have a business cooperation/partnership/collaboration or if you already have business cooperation with us.
  • when you apply for a job (solicited or unsolicited) and that is why your information is required to process your application/complete the recruitment process;
  • If you subscribe to our newsletter or any of our pages on LinkedIn or buy our products via our website or via any social media pages;
  • If you contact InZu for any other reasons.


We can collect the following information in connection with the above for business purposes and to meet the purposes for which we have been provided the information by individuals:


Any information you choose to provide to us about yourself: including your name, age gender, date of birth, nationality, address/contact information/delivery address, company address, current and previous job titles, phone number, email address, birth date, sex;


Online Information: IP address (your computer’s address); curriculum vitae and educational documents/information, previous work positions/titles, information about your professional career, experience, recreational activities, as well as other specific information. During the recruitment process, we may ask for references and may ask the candidate to fill in personality tests;


Financial information: any information you provide us in relation to your payments to other parties, payments to us, your bank account details, claim or any other services you have asked us to provide.


Any other information: for instance, any information about your arrangement of goods transportation, contractual obligations, insurance policies, circumstances/facts of legal claim;


Other purposes: we may use your information for the performance of financial crime and/or sanction screenings, evaluation of the services requested, invoicing, collection of payments, performance of claims investigations/assessments, internal processes and procedures (where we are asked to improve the same), legal compliance, all other purposes to perform our business functions in the light of services offered and requested.

 

We may also keep information about your criminal record, where relevant, with regard to the recruitment process, as per your express consent as per section 8(3) of the personal data protection act.

When you visit our website, we use cookies, you enable InZu to collect data about you by means of cookies if you agree to this on our website (s). You can collect more information about it from cookies policy.


Purpose of the collection


We collect, store and process your personal information fairly and we only use the same for legitimate business objectives or to offer the services you choose to request or to deliver a product to you. We understand our role and responsibility and use the personal information with specific or agreed business purposes.


Furthermore, the information you choose to provide can be used for statistical purposes and customer surveys. We collect data in order to be able to measure and analyse our marketing strategies on the website (s) to improve the perception and experience of our existing and potential clients.

 
The legal basis for the processing


We only process your personal data for specific genuine business objectives, and can process your personal information on the following legal basis, when legal grounds may apply:


  • When we obtain your consent or when our client obtains consent from you to process specific personal information, see for example article 6(1)(a) of GDPR;
  • Where there is a contractual necessity to enter into and/or performance of the contract, we may process your personal data, see article 6(1)(b) of GDPR;
  • the processing is necessary in order for us to comply with applicable law, cf. article 6(1)(c) of GDPR, and/or to meet labour law obligations stipulated by law or collective agreement, cf. section 12(1) of the personal data protection act;
  • Where we have a legal obligation to perform the processing of your personal data, legitimate interests, see article 6(1)(f) of GDPR, 12(2);
  • Where there is a legal ground to process your information/medical information to meet our labour law, health or social security law obligations or to hold specific rights if the processing has its legal basis in EU law or laws of the member states that provides the guarantees for the protection of data subject’s fundamental rights and interests or in the light of an assignment relating to insurance covers, handling or processing of claims or if you have chosen to provide us your information (see article 9 (2) (a), (b), (e), (f)).


If we send direct marketing to you, including by email, we will ask for your prior consent in accordance with the provisions of the marketing act hereon.


When we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us via the contact details found at the end of this Policy. If you withdraw your consent, we will delete the personal data processed on the basis of your consent unless they can or must be processed, for example, in order to comply with a legal obligation.

 
Transfer of your personal information


InZu can disclose or make your personal information available to the following :


  • InZu’s affiliated companies, working partners;
  • In connection with the services requested: surveyors, service providers, lawyers, consultants, suppliers, recruiting clients, business partners with whom we have working partnership or other cooperating partners, including cooperating partners in connection with a recruitment process (if any);
  • Public authorities.


External companies will not receive or process your personal information unless the law permits the disclosure and processing hereof. In this case, If the external companies or cooperating partners are independent data controllers, your personal information will be processed in accordance with their own data privacy policy/data protection policy. 


InZu will only disclose your personal information to countries outside the EU/EEA in accordance with the law, if so required to perform a requested service, and where necessary.

 
Storing your personal information


InZu will store your personal information only for as long as necessary to meet the purpose of processing your information. However, special provisions may apply and within certain areas your personal information may be stored for a longer period of time, but to the extent that it is an obligation from applicable law, as is the case for example for accounting and/or book keeping.

Some information will be deleted after 6 months unless you have consented to keep the information for up to 5 years in order to contact you again if the similar position becomes vacant. In any case, we do not store any information unless it is relevant or we have legitimate reason to do that, as mentioned herein before.


Your rights as a data subject


We are focused on protecting your personal data and securing your rights as a data subject. As a Data subject, you have the following rights:


  • You have right to access, which mean you can ask for copies of the information we process about you;
  • You have a right to rectification of any inaccurate personal data;
  • You have right to ask for erasure of personal data if the purpose for which it was processed has been met, there is no other legal basis for processing your personal data (such as InZu’s overriding interests), personal data must be deleted in order to meet a legal obligation under EU law or Danish law, unless the processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations, bring forward legal claims or to defend a claim;
  • You have right to restrict processing the data, in certain situations. In this case the personal data to be, with the exception of storage, only processed with the consent of data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defend any claims or perform legal obligations.

If the processing of your personal data depends on your consent, you may at any time withdraw your consent by emailing at info@inzuglobal.com. This will however not affect the processing of your personal data prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

If you want to complain about the processing of your personal data, you may contact us at any time. If you are not satisfied with our explanation or correction in the light of your request, you can contact the Danish Data Protection Agency.


Amendments to the Policy


This Policy may be amended at any time, we will mention the date of latest version. In case of significant amendments, you will be notified by a visible notice on our website.

Saving Clause
